Welcome to Ask Mel & Maddy with illustrators Melanie Johnsson and Maddy Vian
We are both passionate about the creative industry and illustration in particular. We feel like sometimes being an illustrator means being lonely and not necessarily know where to turn for help or advice. We’ve both been working as illustrators for a while now and although we’re always keen to answer art questions online, we thought it would be super fun to create a space where you can ask questions to us about anything related to art, design and illustration! We also both love podcasts and we know there is something magical about listening to other people talk about the things we love (a.k.a art) so we hope you love this as much as we will!

You can ask about anything that’s on your mind when it comes to freelance life, the business of illustration, art practice and more. We aim to be open books and will share all our secrets!
